The Beatles are Back at Branson's Liverpool Legends

Reviewed by Ashley of ReserveDirect.comLiverpool Legends in Branson, Missouri is a fantastic show that every Branson guest should put at the top of their “must-watch” show list. The show is the ultimate Beatles Tribute, and the George, Paul, John & Ringo characters recreate every detail, down to their vocals, instrument playing and camaraderie. The group members were hand-picked by Louis Harrison, George’s sister, so the final result is nothing short of extraordinary.

The show begins with a rousing rendition of “I Wanna Hold Your Hand,” “I’m in Love,” & “Till There Was You,” before turning up the energy with a great performance of “Hard Day’s Night.” Then, we were all treated to a stirring cover of “Yesterday,” which was a definite highlight of the show. The Liverpool Legends then recreate their 1st stadium concert at Shea Stadium in New York, launching into “Can’t Buy Me Love” with wondrous applause. “Yellow Submarine” was a lot of fun too, as the audience sang along while bubbles floated throughout the air. Their Veteran Dedication, “In My Life” was a beautiful combination of talent & nostalgia, and was one of the best performances of the night. A special portion of the night occurred during the intermission, when Louis Harrison herself takes the stage for a question & answer segment.

The second half of the show dove into the psychedelic era and featured “Sgt. Pepper's Lonely Hearts Club Band,” complete with costumes, “With a Little Help From my Friends,” and “When I’m 64.” The party really gets started with “A Day in the Life,” as the stage fills with smoke and the lights flash & flicker as the song is delivered. It is a top moment of the show. The show closes with George performing a wonderful cover of “While My Guitar Gently Weeps,” Paul performs “Hey, Jude,” and the four finishes with “Get Back” & “Abby Road.”

Branson’s Liverpool Legends brings The Beatles to life during their live show. It is not to be missed.
