The amenities at Gaylord Palms are endless. There are five restaurants on-site, including the award-winning Old Hickory Steakhouse and European inspired Villa de Flora, as well as the H20 Sports Bar & Grille, which serves a delicious lunch. An array of shops are located at the Gaylord Palms and it has a recreation park, known as Coquina Dunes, that provides guests a Bocce court, putting green, croquet lawn and sand volleyball area. Their spa, Relache, offers a variety of services and there is a well-equipped fitness center open 24 hours a day for guest convenience. There are two pools located on site: Clearwater Cove and South Beach. The Clearwater Cove pool area is for kids and adults and is equipped with great water features including a 120,000-gallon zero-entry pool, octopus waterslide, sand play area and waterfall. The South Beach pool area is for adults only and provides a more relaxing environment for guests in a trendy art-deco setting.
The room I stayed in while at the Orlando Gaylord Palms was a St. Augustine Atrium View room. It was superior in both design and case goods, and was very inviting. Features such as luxury linens, high-quality furnishings and an immaculate bathroom that featured a granite vanity with dual sinks and a walk-in shower made the room a relaxing oasis of comfort. The rooms balcony was the most exceptional feature as it faced the gorgeous St. Augustine Atrium and had a beautiful view of the landscaping and architecture that created the themed atrium.
A stay at the Gaylord Palms Orlando will definitely not disappoint. Make your reservations today to experience a whole new way of staying in Orlando.
