This property has a lodge-style main building complete with fireplace, stuffed game and woodsy décor. The indoor pool area was spacious, very clean and featured and extremely large Jacuzzi as well as a kiddie pool. The game room featured a pool table and air hockey, while the fitness room was equipped with a sauna, weight and cardio machines. Hollywood Wax Museum, Castle of Chaos & Hannah's Mirror Maze a Fun Way to Play in Branson
The Hollywood Wax Museum in Branson, Missouri has turned into an entertainment complex offering a unique tribute to the stars, a 5D ride and interactive games plus a mirror maze that will have you seeing double. With the Hollywood Wax Museum, Castle of Chaos & Hannah's Mirror Maze combo pass you can experience all three fun options for one low price.
When I visited the attraction, me and my companions headed to the Castle of Chaos first, were we quickly got strapped into our seats and began our action-packed adventure that merged a state-of-the-art 3D horror film with heart-pounding motion, special effects, animatronics and an all-out shooting battle against evil. From there, we headed to Hannah’s Mirror Maze where we winded our way through hundreds of mirrored archways until we saved Princess Hannah from Ugly Hetty’s Spell.
Next on the list was the Hollywood Wax Museum. I strolled through the Wax museum, taking pictures and reading interesting facts about movies and personalities, taking about an hour to fully take in every figure and display. I personally enjoyed the Wizard of Oz, Pirates of the Caribbean, Star Wars and Titanic exhibits, as well the Forrest Gump and I Dream of Jeannie figures. They combined great wax artistry with music and special effects to create a real feel to the life-like figures. Kids really enjoy the Branson's Hollywood Wax Museum because they can pose with characters from some of their favorite movies!
The whole family will enjoy the fun found at the Hollywood Wax Museum entertainment complex.

Zip to new Heights at Shepherd of the Hills Vigilante ZipRider Attraction
The Shepherd of the Hills Vigilante ZipRider is a thrilling ride that lets visitors get a bird’s eye view of the Ozarks. When I visited the newly opened attraction, I was ready to experience an adrenaline pumping downhill ride over The Shepherd of the Hills’ 160 acre homestead. There are currently 10 ZipRider attractions in the world, but the Vigilante ZipRider Attraction features the world’s highest tower launch from 230 feet in the air, atop Inspiration Tower. It was sure to be a wild ride!
My fellow companions and I signed consent forms and then traveled in a glass elevator to the top of Inspiration Tower, where we would launch from its open air deck. While we waited for our ride to begin, we had a fantastic view of the Ozark Mountains and were able to see other riders enjoy their journey as well. Once it was our turn, we entered the open air deck, boarded one of the four seated zip lines and eagerly waited for our experience.
The ½ mile ride, during which you can reach speeds up to 50mph, is definitely a rush and well worth the $29 admission fee. It is entirely different from a regular zipline experience and gives one the feeling of being weightless and entirely free to enjoy the view. On a ZipRider ride, guests have no responsibility other than to enjoy the ride.
The Shepherd of the Hills Vigilante ZipRider is an exciting attraction every Branson visitor will enjoy.

Luxury Awaits at Bear Crossing Condominiums Pigeon Forge
The Bear Crossing Condominiums Pigeon Forge offer upscale condominiums in a great location on the Little Pigeon River. The property features numerous amenities that will make your stay in the Smokies a great one. Property amenities include a medium-sized outdoor heated pool with grill area, and easy access to the Pigeon Forge RiverWalk.
The two bedroom condo I stayed in during my visit was lavishly appointed with superior case goods and felt like a home away from home. The open floor plan of the unit felt very spacious as well. The fully equipped kitchen had granite countertops and a dining area with a large, family-sized table. The living room was equipped with comfortable furniture, exceptional décor, a large flat screen television and gas log fireplace. The balcony, which was accessed through the living room, was also a real treat as it overlooked the Little Pigeon River. Some of the units have sunrooms as opposed to a balcony, but the great atmosphere remains the same. The master bedroom suite was very large, equipped with a king bed with top-scale linens and featured a large whirlpool tub for relaxing. The second bedroom featured a queen bed and was also tastefully decorated. It shared the common bath.

Experience an African Adventure at Busch Gardens Tampa
Busch Gardens is an African-safari themed amusement park offering thrilling rides, exciting shows and plenty of ways to experience up-close encounters with wild animals. This unique park, located about an hour west of Orlando, provides the perfect way to discover the beauty of Africa right in southern Florida.
When I visited, I was on a roller coaster mission. Busch Gardens is home to several, including Sheikra, Montu, Kumba and Gwazi. My companions and I tackled the parks dueling wooden roller coaster first, and Gwazi’s 7,000 feet of combined tracks made for a fun ride. Next up was Montu, one of the longest and tallest coasters in the world. It featured seven inversions, including a Zero G Roll and Corkscrew, and was a highlight of our trip. Kumba, which reaches speeds up to 63mph and stands 143 feet tall, was a top-rated coaster as well. The ride lasts almost three minutes so the seven inversions in this ride are well worth your time in line. Sheikra was the last coaster we conquered and it lived up to its promised thrills. This coaster takes you on a 200 foot climb, and then abruptly stops at a 90-foot drop. After hanging precariously in the air, you plummet towards the ground at speeds of 70 mph. It was a huge adrenaline rush and a must-ride for any coaster enthusiasts.
The animals at Busch Gardens Tampa are also a top attraction, and the numerous exhibits were incredible to see. A few of my favorites were Edge of Africa, home to hippos, lions, hyenas, lemurs, meerkats and crocodiles; Myombe Reserve, a lush habitat featuring gorillas and chimpanzees; and the Serengeti Railway, which is a great way to take in the beautiful animals and scenery located throughout the Serengeti Plains area.

Explore Our Nation's History at Colonial Williamsburg
Colonial Williamsburg is an engaging living history museum spread out across 300 acres in historic Williamsburg. Visitors are transported to colonial-era Williamsburg and are immersed in historic culture, including buildings, houses, shops, taverns and costumed interpreters that bring history to life. There are a plethora of exhibits, museums and programs to see, all of which encompass an old world charm.
When I visited, I attended the “Revolutionary City” program which was a lively reenactment that covers the period of 1774 to 1781. Through a series of large-scale streetscape events visitors are able to engage in the reading of the Declaration of Independence, hear the reactions of townspeople as Great Britain tries to tighten control over the colonies, watch Benedict Arnold and the British occupy Williamsburg and witness the General deliver an address before the march to Yorktown, complete with fifes, drums and a cannon salute.
I also had the pleasure of dining at Shields Tavern, a restaurant that serves southern comfort foods inspired by colonial receipts. I dined on the barbeque ribs and drank some of their seasonal ale, all of which was absolutely delicious. The atmosphere of Shields Tavern was also splendid, as the décor and live music were all infused with 18th century affectations.
While I was visiting Colonial Williamsburg I took in one of their evening programs as well. “Cry Witch” is performed at the Capital courtroom building and the one-hour program tells the story of Grace Sherwood, a woman who stands accused of witchery. The story was especially engaging and all of the actors did an excellent job. The audience gets to decide the fate of Grace Sherwood, innocent or guilty, which adds to the interactive experience. During my visit, we found her innocent but the outcome changes with each program.

Incredible Comfort Awaits You at Fairfield Inn Williamsburg
The Fairfield Inn & Suites Williamsburg is a nicely appointed property offering a great location, upscale amenities and in-room creature comforts that create a nice place to stay while you play. When I visited this Williamsburg hotel, I found a very well kept property that was dedicated to serving their clients.
The lobby area, which features a business center with two computers and fax/print/copy services, a sundry station with beverages and snacks, and complimentary coffee, was very inviting. The main floor of the hotel was also home to an extremely large indoor pool area with hot tub, in an atrium style enclosure. It was very spacious and had plenty of room for lounging, and was open from 6am-11pm. A nice size fitness center, with three cardio machines, universal weight machines and TV, was also available. Plus, a restaurant-style breakfast room served a deluxe continental breakfast daily, featuring a delicious ham, egg and cheddar breakfast quiche, Jimmy Dean breakfast sandwiches and waffle station. A guest laundry with six machines was also located on-site.
There are two room types available at the Fairfield Inn Williamsburg – a King Suite and Double/Double room. The main difference between the two room types is that the King Suite features a separate living area for extra space, and the King Suite is equipped with a microwave and mini-fridge. Both rooms, however, feature the new upgraded linen package and the new Green Tea style room décor package which adds a bright, refreshing ambiance to the rooms. The rooms also feature nice bathrooms, with curved shower rod, tile floors and granite vanity. A desk and chair are also standard in-room, as is free Wi-Fi access.

Go "Under the Sea" at Ripley's Aquarium of the Smokies
Ripley’s Aquarium Gatlinburg is an engaging attraction featuring numerous exhibits dedicated to “life under the sea.” With more than 10,000 exotic sea creatures comprised of more than 350 species, the aquarium boasts a plethora of things to see and do. There are 10 main sections of the aquarium, each one dedicated to a specific region or species of aquatic life.
When I visited the Ripley’s Aquarium I really enjoyed the Ocean section of The Living Gallery, which was home to a Pacific Giant Octopus, sea anemones, living corals, jellies and weedy sea dragons. The Coral Reef section was also beautiful, and the emperor angelfish, raccoon butterflyfish and clown triggerfish were all neat to see. The coral itself was impressive too and certainly worth a second look. The largest and most popular exhibit at the aquarium is the Shark Tank, which includes a 340-foot underwater tunnel. There is a glidepath through the tunnel, allowing for a leisurely trip where you’ll see stingrays, sawfish, tarpons, sharks, eels and more.
A Discovery Center for kids is also available. Guests can touch a horseshoe crab, learn about marine animals, test their knowledge and solve puzzles. Some of the other fun displays and exhibits at Ripley’s Aquarium include Stingray Bay, Touch a Ray Bay and the Rainforest display, home to exotic creatures like cardinal tetras, four-eyed fish, poison dart frogs, zebra cichlids, armored catfish and piranhas. The newest exhibit at the aquarium attraction is the Penguin Playhouse. Home to African Blackfooted Penguins, the indoor/outdoor exhibit includes a clear underwater tunnel so that you can get up close and personal to the interesting animals.

Titanic Museum an Interesting, Unique Pigeon Forge Attraction
The Titanic Museum Pigeon Forge is a unique museum that is filled with interesting artifacts, exhibits and a wealth of information regarding the Titanic. The outside of the museum is grandiose in its design, as it is a huge half-scale reproduction of the original Titanic. When I visited the attraction, I was handed a boarding pass, as all “passengers” are, and quickly started my tour of the more than 300 artifacts that are on display.
The authenticity of the museum impressed me from the start, as did its attention to detail and design. There is a treasure trove of artifacts, including a deck chair, Mrs. John Jacob Astor’s actual life jacket, official Titanic dinnerware and a crew member’s pen knife, among numerous other interesting pieces. Plus, the Titanic Museum features exact replicas of the opulent Grand Staircase, as well as third-class, second-class and first-class cabins. The Father Browne Gallery showcases some of the only Titanic photographs taken during the Titanic's passage from Southampton to Ireland, and is a true sight to see.
The Titanic Museum also strives to create interactive exhibits. There is a trough of 28-degree water in which you can immerse your hand (or maybe just a finger, it’s really cold!) to experience the severity of the water that night; you can stand on a ship’s stern and experience the different precise angles of the ship as it gradually descended into the water; you can also simulate shoveling coal, learn to tie rope knots and try and send an SOS signal. On top of that, there is a lifeboat in which voices tell survivors stories and there is a special section called “Tots Titanic” featuring interactive exhibits for guests eight and under.
There are a variety of things to explore at the Titanic Museum. I spent almost two hours inside the attraction during my Pigeon Forge visit and certainly could’ve spent more time. Be sure to make time for a tour during your next Pigeon Forge vacation.

The ZORB is a Thrilling Smoky Mountain Adventure
The ZORB Smoky Mountains is a thrilling experience that is truly one-of-a-kind. Offering the Zydro (wet ride) or Zorbit (dry ride) the ZORB in Pigeon Forge will get your adrenaline pumping. The rides take place in a giant, inflatable, 12ft globe that sends you rolling down a specially designed hill. The ZORB globes are essentially a globe inside a globe. You, the Zorbonaut, are placed inside the inner globe and rolled down the hill while cushioned on a 3ft pocket of air.
When I arrived at the ZORB headquarters, I checked in and received my ZORB S.T.A.R.T. Certificate, which meant I was ready for my adventure. After that, I headed outside and took a look at the hill that I would soon be tumbling down. The hill doesn’t seem that long until you reach the top. That’s when you can really see how far you’re going to roll – the length of six football fields. All the same, I was amped to experience the ZORB. I choose to do the Zorbit ride, which promised a head-over-heels adrenaline rush that’ll have you coming back for more.
After strapping into the specially-designed safety harness, I was ready to become a Zorbonaut. At first tumble, I realized this was going to be a blur of blue, green, blue, green. The ride down the hill kept a smile plastered on my face the entire time and even though my eyes remained open during the entire journey, I witnessed only a beautiful mosaic of blues and greens, only aware of what was sky and what was earth. While zorbiting I had the feeling of weightlessness and g-force.
ZORB employees take photos of your adventure that can be purchased once your ride is complete.
I highly recommend becoming a Zorbonaut to anyone that visits Pigeon Forge. I can’t wait to try out the Zydro on my next trip!

Bear Run Falls Pigeon Forge is a condominium resort offering a great location just minutes from Dollywood. The property has Hillcrest and Tower units available, with the Hillcrest units being the newer-style condos. Guests have full access to the indoor pool open all year, the outdoor pool, hot tub and outdoor picnic area with tables and grill. A spa is also located on the property.
The two bedroom hillcrest unit features nice case goods, a medium sized kitchen with granite counters, and an open layout that combines the dining area and spacious living room, which featured a large stone fireplace, leather furniture, 50” flat screen TV, sleeper sofa and access to the outside balcony. The first bedroom is located near the entrance and it connects to a shared common bath. The second bedroom, which is the master suite, was elegant in its décor, featured a comfortable bed and master bath with larger jetted tub and walk-in shower. The three bedroom units, which are available only in the hillcrest section, are very spacious and are highlighted by upgraded amenities like a flat screen TV in every bedroom and stainless steel appliances. Some of the three bedroom units are townhouse style, although the one I toured was all one level. One bedroom condos are also available at Bear Run Falls Pigeon Forge TN, and they featuredthe same design as the two bedroom units, only with a smaller amount of square footage. They were, however, very cozy and accommodating. All condos at Bear Run Falls include a patio or balcony, are located right of the golf course and feature wireless internet access.
Two bedroom and three bedroom cabins are also available, in a resort setting, for roughly the same price as the Hillcrest condo units.

Be Amazed at the Cirque De Chine show in Pigeon Forge
Cirque De Chine Pigeon Forge is an entertaining show that packs a lot of action into its two hour production. The talented performers combine movement and music for a one-of-a-kind display of Eastern arts. This show amazed me from start to finish, as these performers defy gravity, pushing their skills to new heights and generally do the impossible with their bodies.
A few of the highlights of this Pigeon Forge show included the human statue routines, during which the performers twist, turn and manipulate their bodies into statue like positions. The athleticism displayed is truly impressive. The Chinese dance segment, which feature a boy and girl performing aerial acrobatics was beautiful and highlighted the grace found in acrobatics. A balancing routine, featuring female cast members, was also a standout as the performers balanced flower torches, while dancing, in their mouths. Another spectacular stunt featured the males of the group jumping through hoops, literally! They would run, jump, flip, or somersault into a stand of hoops, and at one point the hoop was five circles high which totaled 10 feet! The way these performers gracefully swooped through these small circles, and at such a height, was unbelievable. A beautiful sash routine was another highlight. The story is based on a Chinese legend, similar to Romeo and Juliet, and the artistry of the man and woman during the sash segment was truly breathtaking. From swinging high above the crowd to seamlessly working together to perform artful moves, this segment truly brought the show to new heights. Other acts during the show included extreme juggling, chair/vase balancing at unheard of heights, human catapulting and martial arts.
The incredible finale of Cirque De Chine featured the famous flying motorcycles. A giant globe filled the stage and at first one motorcycle climbed inside driving up, down and all around. Then two filled the globe, then three, then four, then five! Watching five motorcycles spin, twist and go and upside down was a great finish to the show and still has my companions and I asking “How’d they do that?”
Young and old alike are enthralled by this show. It’s an easy choice for your next Pigeon Forge vacation.

Country Cascades is Remodeled, Renovated and Renamed for the 2010 Season
Country Cascades, formerly Country Inn & Suites, is an inviting property offering interior corridor rooms, a secluded location plus the upgraded amenities guests deserve while on vacation. The hotel has been recently remodeled, and its charming décor and comfortable rooms reflect the renovations. The exterior of the hotel also has a fresh, new look as it received an extensive paint job in early 2010.
Upon arriving at the hotel, I was pleased with their expansive lobby, which featured art by local artist Ken Jenkins, and was equipped with a computer for guest use. Their Aquatic Center can be accessed from the main floor as well. There is a large indoor pool and hot tub, in an atrium-style enclosure, and secluded, medium-sized outdoor pool that was very clean and perfect for sunbathing. Plus, the pools at Country Cascades are non-chemical based as they use a salt-water blend instead of chlorine to purify their pools. Mill Creek runs right behind the property creating the perfect place to have a picnic, bbq or just play in the great outdoors. Newly Renovated Holiday Inn Pigeon Forge an Immaculate Lodging Choice
The Holiday Inn Pigeon Forge is an immaculate, newly remodeled property that offers a wealth of amenities and conveniences for its guests. From the moment I arrived at the hotel, I was impressed with its stunning lodge-style lobby which boasts a beautiful flagstone fireplace, hardwood floors and spacious lounge area. After checking in to my newly renovated room, I made use of the array of amenities available.
Most of the properties amenities are located on the main floor. There is a small business center with two computers and copy/fax/print services, plus an indoor pool and arcade. The large indoor pool was very clean and inviting. It had a waterfall feature, plenty of lounge space, a hot tub plus a sundeck outside. The arcade, which has 12 games, is located in the same area, which is convenient for families. Louie’s Grill is also open to guests and it serves breakfast from 7am-10:30am. There is an $8.95 charge for the breakfast buffet. Louie’s is also open for dinner from 5pm-8pm. On weekends, The Marketplace Café is open and it offers sandwiches, light snacks and on-the-go type items. There is also a fitness center available, open from 5:30am-11pm, equipped with six machines and a flat screen TV. The hotel is also equipped with Wi-Fi, which is a free service to guests.
King and Double/Double rooms are available at the Pigeon Forge Holiday Inn. All rooms are newly renovated and featured triple sheeted pillow top beds that were very restful, a mini-fridge, microwave, sofa chair, 27” TV and new case goods. The bath area had a granite vanity and curved shower rod for extra space. The motif is simple earth tones of browns, greens, golds and whites with a hint of wildlife to accent the lodge-style of the hotel. All rooms also have large windows accenting the spaciousness of the rooms.

Comfortable, Clean Accommodations can be found at Holiday Inn Express Pigeon Forge
The Holiday Inn Express Pigeon Forge was a wonderful place to stay on my recent trip to Pigeon Forge. Newly remodeled, the property offers quality accommodations and amenities that make guests feel right at home. Plus, Pigeon Forge entertainment and shows were just steps away, which made enjoying the area very easy.
The Pigeon Forge Holiday Inn Express features a large indoor pool area with hot tub in an atrium-style enclosure that allowes for plenty of sunlight. It connects to a courtyard that is perfect for sunbathing. The spacious area was very clean and also has public restrooms. There is also a guest laundry located on the 5th floor and a picnic area with swing set for the kids located behind the pool area. A medium-sized game room was also available to guests. Plus, a computer was available in the lobby that offered free internet access with copy/print/fax services. However, free Wi-Fi was available throughout the hotel. The free hot breakfast that was served in the morning, from 6:30am-10am, was a great way to start my day. It featured standard continental breakfast items as well as hot items like eggs, cinnamon rolls, sausage and bacon.
Accommodations at the hotel include Double/Double and Single King units. I had the pleasure of staying in a Double/Double Unit, which was equipped with a very comfortable bed featuring fine linens and pillows that made for a restful night’s sleep. It was furnished with a sofa chair, mini-fridge, microwave and 27” TV. The décor featured greens, golds and whites. The bathroom area had a curved shower rod and large vanity area, and felt spacious for a standard hotel unit.
The Holiday Inn Express is a great choice for travelers to the Smoky Mountain region.

SeaWorld Orlando is Perfect Combination of Aquatic Thrills & Animal Encounters
SeaWorld in Orlando, Florida allows visitors to go “under the sea” and experience one-of-a-kind animal encounters and aquatic thrills. There are over 200 acres to explore, creating an immerive envirnment for park-goers to explore. From adventurous rides to unique exhibits to outstanding live shows, SeaWorld is unlike any other theme park in Orlando.
When I visited Sea World, my fellow companions and I made a beeline for Manta, the park’s newest roller coaster. Manta is a unique coaster, and it sets itself apart from other rides right away. After we were securely fastened in our seats, in a horizontal position, the manta ray shaped apparatus inverted so we were positioned vertically, to simulate the flying-like capabilities of manta rays. From there, we were treated to 3,359 feet of track that did not disappoint. At first the ride felt like we were gliding, but it quickly got faster, and once the pretzel loop was reached, we dipped 98 feet down the track into a 360-degree in-line twist. A wing dip maneuver splashed the manta-shaped riding apparatus into a lagoon surrounding the coaster, lightly splashing us with water. The experience was so incredible the ReserveDirect team rode Manta three consecutive times.
We had to ride the Kraken too. Named after a mythological water monster, the Kraken is Orlando’s tallest, fastest and only floorless coaster. The Kraken coaster features a 149-foot lift hill, a 119-foot tall vertical loop, a 101-foot diving loop, a zero-gravity roll, a two-inversion cobra roll and a flat spin. Needless to say it had us all screaming and coming back for more, as we rode it twice!
Once we had our fill of thrills, we headed to check out a SeaWorld show. We were able to catch Blue Horizons, a show featuring acrobatic dolphins, amazing stunt actors, trained birds and the imagination of a young girl. We also got to watch Clyde and Seamore Take Pirate Island, a hilarious show featuring the talents of the park’s sea lions, otters and walruses. Both of these shows were amazing to see and really highlighted not only the talents of the animals, but of their trainers as well.
We had to experience some of the spectacular park exhibits while we were there too. Spending time at the Manta Aquarium, Dolphin Cove, Penguin Encounter, Stingray Lagoon and Turtle Point were all highlights of our visit.
At the end of the day, we caught the nighttime extravaganza Shamu Rocks. This rock ‘n roll concert style show featured killer whales, energetic performers, amazing trainers and dazzling theatrical effects. It was a great way to end the day at SeaWorld Orlando. This aquatic park is highly recommended and is a great addition to any Orlando vacation.
Ozarks Xplorer Canopy Tour is a Thrilling Ozarks Adventure
I recently went on an adventure at Branson Zipline and Canopy Tours at Wolfe Creek Preserve with my fellow co-workers of ReserveDirect. Newly opened, this new Branson attraction added something new to the Branson scene – eco-adventures. We were all eager to see what the buzz was all about, and after a quick but informative introduction and gear-up of our zipline equipment, we were transported from Wolfe Creek Station to the top of Wolfe Mountain to begin our adventure.
There are four eco-adventures available and we choose to go on the Ozarks Xplorer Canopy Tour, which lasts 2.5 hours and includes all 6 of the ziplines, excluding the Blue Streak Zipline. From the very first zip, we were all hooked. Our guides, Kyle and Tim, were very informative and put safety first at all times. They put us all at ease and added to the all-around experience.
The first half of the tour consisted of a variety of ziplines, including ones that went fast and others that were a bit slower but allowed you to see the beauty that surrounded you. One of the goals of the Branson Zipline is to teach visitors about the ecology of the Ozarks, and you certainly get to see a large amount of the natural outdoors of the area on the tours offered. After a complimentary snack of water and granola bars, the second half of our adventure began with as we trekked across extended swinging suspension bridges. From there, we complete three more ziplines, all of which provided a different perspective and different thrill.

Williamsburg Hospitality House offers Distinguished Charm, Great Location
The Williamsburg Hospitality House is a charming, historic Inn featuring colonial style in the heart of Williamsburg. Their fantastic location – only two blocks from Colonial Williamsburg – puts visitors in the midst of Williamsburg’s rich history. This property, however, excels at combining the quaint appeal of the past with modern amenities guest relish in while on vacation.
During my visit, I enjoyed a stay in their Double/Double unit. Spacious and inviting, the room was decorated in blues, greens and whites. The case goods were all in splendid condition and added to the colonial atmosphere. The beds were comfortable and provided a good night’s rest, while the bathroom, with its dual vanities, made it easy to get ready in the morning. Plus, most of the guest rooms have a great view of historic downtown Williamsburg – a definite bonus.
Perhaps one the best elements of the Williamsburg Hospitality House VA are its added amenities. On the main floor on this Williamsburg hotel, there is a lavish lobby highlighted by the William and Mary Parlor, a great sitting area with fireplace and piano, as well as two restaurants – Papillon and 415 Grill. The Papillon Restaurant is a garden-style bistro open for breakfast seven days a week. The 415 Grill has a warm atmosphere and lounge area with games. They are open for lunch and dinner daily. Both restaurants also offer room service.
A medium sized outdoor pool, which is secluded nicely, offers plenty of lounge space. There is also a fabulous courtyard area with landscaping accented by the brick exterior of the hotel. It is a great spot to eat a meal from one of the restaurants or simply relax. Other amenities at the Hospitality House Williamsburg include a very large fitness center, open from 5am-11pm, equipped with six cardio machines, a universal weight machine and TV. A game room with five arcade games is also located on-site. A business center with two computers and print/fax capabilities is also available to guests. Wi-Fi is available at a charge of $10 a day.

Comfort Suites offers Modern Amenities, Upscale Design in Williamsburg
The Comfort Suites Williamsburg was an excellent place to stay while I visited Williamsburg, VA. Opened just three weeks ago, the newness of the property was apparent from floor to ceiling. The location was also an added benefit, as there were several eateries nearby and attractions like Colonial Williamsburg were just minutes away.
When I arrived at the Comfort Suites, I was impressed by the modern design of the property. Flush with reds, blacks, grays and whites, the décor was vibrant and created an upscale atmosphere. The King Room I stayed in during my Williamsburg vacation was very spacious, with a frosted glass partition dividing the sitting area from the sleeping area. The sitting area was equipped with a pullout sofa sleeper, coffee table, mini-fridge and microwave, as well as a desk with chair. The bed, featuring luxury linens and pillows, was extremely comfortable and left me well rested. A flat screen television rounded out the modern amenities found inside my King Room. The nice-size bathroom had a black granite vanity, tile floors and curved shower rod. Double Queen Rooms at the Comfort Suites have the same design and room amenities.
This Williamsburg hotel also had hotel amenities that catered to guests as well. A well-equipped fitness center with cardio, weights and TV was open from 6am-11pm. A large game room with pool table, air hockey and arcade games was also available, as was a small sundry shop, guest laundry and business center with computers, copy and fax services. Free Wi-Fi is conveniently available throughout the hotel. The indoor pool, open from 6am-11pm, was also exceptionally nice and had a hot tub, water features and light features during the evening/night hours.
The Comfort Suites served a hot breakfast in the mornings, which was an added bonus. Waffles, bagels, eggs and bacon or sausage and hot coffee were served daily and was a delicious start to my day.

The rooms feature two Double Queen Beds, moderately used case goods, 27” TV, café style table & chairs and a large granite vanity adjoining the bath area for guests convenience. Most guests spend little to no time in their rooms though – there’s too much fun to be had elsewhere!
The Branson Grand Country Inn is a great choice when it comes to Branson Hotels. It is a solid choice for families, no matter what time of year it is.
