Branson Grand Plaza Hotel Excels in Excellence

Reviewed by AshleyThe Branson Grand Plaza Hotel is a nicely appointed property in an easily accessible section of the Branson area. Parking is somewhat disadvantageous, as it is tiered and might provide some trouble for older visitors if upper spaces are already taken. When I toured the property, I found it to be best suited for adults and business travelers. The large, full hot breakfast bar is complimentary in the hotel’s breakfast room, which is large enough for guests to feel they are in a restaurant rather than hospitality room.

Business wise, this Grand Plaza Hotel Branson has large, expansive meeting rooms that can also be used for weddings and reunions. The adult crowd will enjoy the Plaza View Restaurant and Lounge, as gourmet food and delicious drinks are served for your enjoyment, all with a great view of the Ozarks. The rooms I visited, remodeled in 2005, are warmly decorated, with standard beds and bedding. The Double Queen room is a fairly basic room, with the King Suite being the best buy for couples with a young child, as the room comes appointed with an extra, twin size fold out couch. Their fitness room, equipped with treadmills and weights and a few arcade games is nicely situated near the indoor pool area, making it easy for individuals to jump from one activity to the next. However, the pool itself is small in comparison to the overall size of the property.

The Branson Radisson is Show-Central

Reveiwed by AshleyThe Radisson Hotel Branson is in the heart of the Theatre district, providing easy access to alternate routes and attractions. The property itself has plenty of amenities to offer its guests, including the Canteen, a general store where guests can purchase sandwiches, drinks and ice cream during their stay as well as a fitness area with weights, treadmills and stair-climber. There is an indoor/outdoor pool with a clever glass partition, as well as a Jacuzzi and spa which looked appreciated during my visit in January.

This Branson Radisson Hotel is geared towards adult and senior clientele, as it is more of an upscale facility with many amenities geared towards the adult range. 80% of the hotel rooms have Comfort Select Sleep Number Beds, while the remaining 20% have regular Comfort Select Beds. The 7th floor room I toured had a great view, as do many of the rooms found on the 10-floor high rise property. Veterans will love this property because it caters to them personally. There is a wall of heroes and a Veterans CafĂ©, which serves breakfast, lunch and dinner for all patrons of the Branson area. (Be sure to try the Southwestern Wrap, it’s delicious!)

Another great addition to the property is the R & R lounge, where guests can relax with a nice cocktail before or after a show. Wireless Internet is also available throughout the hotel, however they do not offer a continental breakfast.

Reviewed by Ashley of ReserveDirect.comThe Cascades Inn in Branson, Missouri is an inviting property, suited for families and seniors visiting the Branson area. They offer a spacious indoor pool, one of the largest indoor pools in the area, complete with sauna, hot tub and patio. This recreational area is great for families due to its size. The game room is also family friendly, as it provides a pool table and several arcade games situated closely to the pool area. A Complimentary Continental breakfast at this hotel is also served daily and will satisfy any member of the family, as it offers hot and cold items, including biscuits and gravy.

Branson's Cascades Inn has rooms that can be utilized in various ways, with the Junior Suite being the best deal for families who need extra space as it can be used as a two bedroom unit. The Family Suites are ideal accommodations for a large family, as it can lodge up to 8 members. They do cost more money, but can be well worth it.
